Perancangan dan Implementasi Sistem Manajemen Persediaan dan Stok Opname Berbasis Web Pada Toko Sembako Bu Suhartatik

Abstract

The inventory management at Toko Sembako Bu Suhartatik has historically been conducted semi-digitally, combining physical logbook records with the use of instant messaging applications and notes on smartphones. This conventional procedure causes several operational constraints, including a high risk of data redundancy, difficulties in real-time stock monitoring, and the accumulation of food products nearing expiration due to the absence of a centralized alert system. This Field Work Practice research aims to design and develop a Web-Based Inventory Management and Stock Opname Information System as an integrated digital solution. Software development is implemented using the Waterfall method, which encompasses requirements analysis, architectural design, program coding, and system functionality testing. The software architecture is designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach, including Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Class Diagrams, and is relationally modeled through Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) transformed into a Logical Record Structure (LRS). This web-based application is built using the PHP programming language. Application functionality testing is conducted through Black-Box Testing, with results indicating that all system modules operate according to the expected technical specifications. The information system successfully integrates an Early Warning System dashboard, a mutation transaction logging module, and an automated reconciliation sub-module.
